Honoring Dr. Frank DiMotta and His Legacy of Care
For more than 25 years, Dr. Frank DiMotta has had the privilege of caring for individuals and families throughout the Ruidoso community. A Board-Certified Family Medicine physician with more than 40 years in medicine, Dr. DiMotta built his practice around something simple but meaningful: knowing his patients, their families, and the community he serves.
As Sierra Blanca Primary Care begins its next chapter as part of Duke City Primary Care, Dr. DiMotta will be stepping away from direct patient care and serving for a short time as a Physician Advisor during the transition.
We are incredibly grateful for the trust Dr. DiMotta has built with his patients and for the many years he has dedicated to caring for the Ruidoso community. His legacy and commitment to local healthcare are an important part of Sierra Blanca Primary Care’s story.
As we move forward, our goal is to make this transition as comfortable and easy as possible for Dr. DiMotta’s patients. Patients will have the opportunity to continue their care with Marcus and the Sierra Blanca Primary Care team, with the added resources and support of Duke City Primary Care.

Marcus Colker, FNP-C
Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Marcus Colker is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 19 years of nursing and clinical experience.
His background includes:

Marcus was born and raised in El Paso and has spent much of his career serving communities throughout the Southwest.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University in 2005 and his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2018.
After becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Marcus continued his clinical training through an Advanced Practice First Assist program and additional certifications in trauma and critical care.
He has worked as a Trauma and General Surgery Nurse Practitioner, hospitalist, and emergency medicine provider and is proud to continue serving patients in the Ruidoso community.
