Daniel specializes in Family Medicine and attended UNM PA program. A former EMT, he wanted to move into an area of medicine that focuses on the relationship created between provider and patient. A native New Mexican, he practiced in Taos before moving here to Albuquerque. As a provider he is able to combine patient care and helping others with his love of science and the human body. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, travel and spending time with his wife and daughters.
Heather specializes in Family Medicine and Senior Medicine. She studied at Simmons University and pursued a career in medicine to make a difference. Good conversation and connecting with her patients is her favorite part of being a provider. The military brought Heather to New Mexico but she grew up in New England. She enjoys spending time with her children and her two German Shepherds.
Rachel enjoys providing Preventative Healthcare, Family Medicine and Dermatology. She has been in the medical field for 13 years as a nurse before completing her NP training at University of Texas, Arlington. Building relationships and working with her patients to optimize their health and wellbeing is her priority. Her background in nursing fueled her passion for preventing patient illness and hospitalization. Rachel started practicing medicine when she moved to New Mexico but is originally from Wyoming. She enjoys running marathons, reading and traveling with her family and fur babies.
Stephanie specializes in Pediatric & Women’s Health care but loves caring for all patients. She has been working in the medical field for 15 years and started out in emergency medicine. Transitioning to nursing she was frustrated by the lack of primary care available to her patients and went back to school so she could serve her community in the East Mountains. A native New Mexican, she grew up in the East Mountains and is proud to serve her community as a permanent Provider who can make an impact in her community. She is a social butterfly who loves people and enjoys seeing her patients in the community. Very family oriented, she enjoys doing anything that involves her husband and two little boys.
Mikayla specializes in Women’s Health with a special interest in Dermatology. She earned her undergraduate degree at NMSU and graduated with her masters in PA studies at UNM. She was born and raised in Southern New Mexico and has experienced the gaps in healthcare firsthand. Practicing in her home state gives her the opportunity to provide healthcare and fill those gaps. Being able to educate and learn with her patients throughout their lives is her favorite part of being a provider. She enjoys traveling or exploring New Mexico with her husband and dog, trying new coffee shops and looking after her twenty two house plants.
Caley specializes in Family Practice and enjoys working with Pediatrics, Women’s Health and all ages with acute and chronic problems. Watching her family of Nurses and Nurse Practitioners care for the community inspired her to become a provider. She enjoys building relationships with her patients over time to help them reach their goals. Caley is a native New Mexican, got her BSN at Seattle University but her green chile withdrawal brought her back to complete her medical training at UNM. She enjoys cooking and baking, relaxing with her pets and is a triplet.
Jessica specializes in Family Medicine and enjoys caring for all patient age groups. A native New Mexican, she completed her masters at UNM and completed her Nurse Practitioner residency here. Building relationships with her patients and their families enables them to work as a team and provide all inclusive care for the best health outcome. Jessica enjoys providing care in her home state and is proud to support her community. She enjoys weight training, supporting local restaurants and traveling to unique places.
Alyssa specializes in Women’s Health, Pediatrics, & Preventative care with extensive training in OB-GYN. Having grown up in New Mexico and completing all her training here, it was important for her to continue to work here and take care of her community. She attended UNM for undergrad, went to UNM SOM for medical school, and did her family residency at UNM with 4 years at St. Vincent Community Hospital. Alyssa grew up surrounded by doctors, taking care of people at their most vulnerable times, which inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. She enjoys taking care of people of all ages and their families, learning about their values and building relationships in order to provide complete care. Alyssa just had her first baby and loves watching him grow and watching his personality develop. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, trying new restaurants, going to concerts, traveling, and yoga.
Ashley specializes in Women’s health, Oncology and Pediatrics. In 2009 she started her nursing career before pursuing her degrees from Carrington College in Albuquerque and Chamberlain University in Chicago. Born in New Mexico, she moved away for her career but the culture, family and food brought her back. Compassionate about helping those in need, she loves taking care of her patients. Her love of education and learning ensures she is always finding ways to improve her skills and the lives of her patients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, painting, and watching her children’s sporting events.
Melany specializes in Pediatric, Women’s and Palliative/Hospice Care. She has been in medicine for 14 years starting as a Nurse Tech then Registered Nurse and now Nurse Practitioner. She is a native of Albuquerque and received her Masters degree in family practice from Walden University. From a young age, Melany knew she wanted to help others and make a difference. With a passion for patient centered care, she enjoys improving her patients health and lives in a way that is manageable. Helping patients understand their care and bringing a smile to their face when they need it most. She enjoys spending her time in the beauty of nature whether she’s hiking, fishing or tending to her fruit and vegetable garden.
Ashlee grew up in Colorado but returned to her New Mexican roots to run competitively at UNM. She also completed her Masters in PA studies at UNM where she found a love for caring for the medically underserved of New Mexico. Ashlee has a special interest in women’s health as a Natural Family Planning only provider by helping women and couples appreciate their fertility through naturally avoiding/achieving pregnancy as well as addressing reproductive health issues in a way that is cooperative with a woman’s natural cycles. She completed NaProTECHNOLOGY training through the St. Paul VI Institute in 2022 and practices as a Creighton Model FertilityCare System PA. When she’s not working, she enjoys soaking up the New Mexican sunshine outdoors, crafting, and spending time with her husband and son.

Heather was born and raised in New Mexico and trained at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine- PA program graduating in 2004 and received her Master’s from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine in 2006.
She has been in medicine for 18 years and specializes in family practice care. Heather enjoys the relationships developed with her patients in Primary Care and treating multigenerational families.
She was inspired to practice medicine by her mother who was a former nun, nurse and NP. inspired me to practice medicine. In her spare time, Heather loves to downhill ski, swim and travel with her family and fun dog, Bailey.
Born and raised in Albuquerque, NM she attended the University of New Mexico to receive her BSN degree. She has 8 years of nursing experience at UNM Hospital in medical, surgical, and trauma specialties. Wanting to focus on preventative care, she returned to UNM to obtain her MSN in Family Practice. She is passionate about serving her community and empowering patients to reach their mental and physical health goals. Outside of work, she enjoys coffee shops & reading, bicycling, hiking with her husband and two dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Grenemyer has been practicing Family Medicine for over 30 years in the Albuquerque area. He studied at the Western University of Health Sciences and specializes in taking care of multigenerational family’s, sports medicine and Nonsurgical orthopedics.
Dr. Grenemyer treasures the patient relationships he has established over the past 30 years and having a positive impact on his community. Dr. Grenemyer is a high school girls golf coach and enjoys outdoor sports including cycling, skiing, and golf.
Dannial Coston was born in California and moved to New Mexico at the age of 15. She has been in the medical field for over 20 years starting as an Environmental Specialist in Nevada before moving into Nursing and is now a NP. She attended Chamberlain University in Illinois & Carrington College in New Mexico. Working in post surgical services for 5 years with Presbyterian Hospital alongside RNs and Providers allowed her to gain hands on experience throughout her medical career. Her goal is to help educate her patients and the community by providing education and attainable goals to achieve a better quality and healthier lifestyle. Dannial enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, hunting, fishing, reading and traveling.
After receiving a degree in Biology and Psychology at the University of Texas, Kelly spent several years working as a naturalist and educator before getting her certification as an EMT. This experience allowed her to return to Albuquerque to get her training as a physician assistant. She received her Masters of Physician Assistant at University of Saint Francis. Since then, she has gained experience in a variety of medical fields including surgery, oncology, pain management, and primary care. In all her experiences, her the most important tool is the personal connections that she forms with people. In her free time, Kelly’s passions are education, the outdoors, and the advancement of the physician assistant profession.
Gerry was born and raised in Boston, MA. Following graduation from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, he worked as an Emergency Medical Technician before moving to Oregon to attend Pacific University’s physician assistant program. During his travels across the United States for his physician assistant training, he fell in love with New Mexico’s people, culture, and climate. He is excited to join Duke City Primary care as a provider and looks forward to providing compassionate medical care to the people of New Mexico. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, hiking, and reading up on a good mystery.
An El Paso, TX native, Mohammad Al-Raie has lived in New Mexico with his wife and two dogs for most of his adult life and considers Albuquerque home. He completed his undergraduate studies at NMSU in Biochemistry and continued his medical training at UNM School of Medicine. He has worked for under privileged communities / refugees at a UNM Hospital outpatient clinic. His interests are in Sports Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care…and of course, his patients. If you can’t catch him playing guitar at an open mic night, then he is probably training for a triathlon or riding the mountain trails of the beautiful Sandias.
Dr. Tapia-Sauerman received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed her pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Tapia-Sauerman is of Cuban descent and is fluent in Spanish. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Yourah Hwang, originally from South Korea, considers Albuquerque her second home. She has lived in Albuquerque for over 20 years. Having worked at Lovelace hospital for over 6 years as a RN, she has a passion for providing care to underserved communities in New Mexico. Coming from a multicultural background, she understands a diverse population. Her practice focuses on individualized care, chronic care management, preventive care, and healthy behaviors.
Dr. Mankad has practiced medicine for 23 years in Hobbs, New Mexico. He is originally from India and first moved to Ohio for his Internal Medicine residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Cleveland. Dr. Mankad is excited to move here to Albuquerque to work with Duke City Primary Care. His favorite aspect of patient care is serving and believes it is important to connect, communicate and gain trust with his patients. He is blessed with his wonderful wife, two sons who both attend UNM Medical school and their dog Gilly. He loves travel and spicy vegetarian food.
Dr. Storm Dorrough is a Wisconsin native, who completed her Pediatric Training at UNM Children’s Hospital. She fell in love with the land of enchantment, and is excited to stick around and start practicing at Duke City Primary Care. She’s passionate about children’s health, and looks forward to providing quality and comprehensive care for infants, toddlers, children, and teens. Her favorite part of being a pediatrician is seeing children grow and learn, and helping their parents adjust to all the changes and problems along the way. When not taking care of your little one’s she enjoys hiking, backpacking, baking, and playing with her dog Gerald.
Amanda was raised with her brothers and cousins on her family’s farm & ranch in Montana. In 2003, she started her journey in healthcare as an RN at the University of
Colorado Hospital in the Denver Metro area where she worked in Emergency Medicine and Trauma until 2015. After that time, she attended graduate school while working in
rural healthcare in North Dakota and Montana. Amanda enjoys teaching and has participated in mentorships for new graduate programs as well as taught CPR courses and
Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC). In her spare time, Amanda likes to stay active and enjoys reading, travel, and spending time outdoors with her son and her husband.
Christie is a native New Mexican, born and raised in Carlsbad. She came to Albuquerque after high school and fell in love with the beauty of the city, food, and the weather!
She enjoys spending time with family, especially if it involves cooking good food, going to the lake, or sitting around a fire. She has worked as a nurse for almost 19 years and
has a passion for teaching people how to best participate in the improvement of their health. Christie is a recent graduate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of
St. Francis and is certified through ANCC and AANP. She looks forward to helping her fellow New Mexicans meet their best health goals!
Kelly is a certified physician assistant as well as certified athletic trainer. In addition to his masters in physician assistant studies, he also has bachelors and masters degrees in
sports medicine/athletic training. After growing up in Oklahoma, Kelly has lived in New Mexico for 20 years and is happy to call New Mexico home. In his spare time, he
enjoys ice hockey, the outdoors, and spending time with his wife and children.
Derrik was born and raised in rural southern Illinois. He completed both his undergraduate and physician assistant degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. As a
young man he fell in love with the mountains while vacationing to New Mexico, Colorado, and California. Thus, he planned his move following graduation and chose
Albuquerque. Derrik is a new provider who is passionate about providing care to the East Mountain area. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, skiing,
snowboarding, golfing, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and learning about the culture of New Mexico. He looks forward to caring for you and your family!
Joshua has been practicing medicine for a total of 6 years in aspects of primary, urgent care and internal medicine. He has enjoyed practicing medicine in New Mexico for 3
years and is proud to be a provider with Duke City Primary Care. He lives in Albuquerque with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with his family and is active
in the community. Joshua is excited to provide care to the Valencia County and is currently accepting new patients.
Shannel is a native New Mexican who graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science degree. Despite exploring various non-medical jobs she was
always drawn to medicine, which eventually led her to obtaining a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She has been a PA at Duke City Urgent Care,
helping patients with acute medical conditions. Shannel has a passion for medical missions and also for preventative medicine which led her to join the Duke City Primary
Care family. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, being outdoors, and traveling.
Fabian Rodriguez was born in Rome and spent most of his life in Costa Rica. His father is from Spain and mother is from Italy, so he speaks fluent Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and English. He went to Medical School in Costa Rica and Tulane University in New Orleans, and did his residency in Internal Medicine and Practice for more than 10 years in ER back in Costa Rica.
He moved permanently to the U.S back in 2002 and worked as a Senior Ship Physician in the Cruise Line Industry for almost 15 years, He then pursued the NP license at the Florida International University in Miami and graduated in 2015. He has been practicing as an NP since 2015, providing commitment, respect, compassion and great quality of service to all his patients.
Allison spent most of her childhood in the Midwest region of the country, growing up in Pittsburgh, PA before moving to Cleveland, OH for high school. She completed her undergraduate education at Miami University of Ohio in Oxford with Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Spanish with a Pre-Med co-major before working as a pediatric medical assistant in Cincinnati for a year. She then interviewed for PA school at UNM and fell in love with the New Mexico landscape, people, and culture. She moved here for PA school and has been practicing primary care since she graduated from UNM in 2018. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, jogging, learning guitar, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
Michael was raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, where he went to Loyola University in Chicago. After graduating, Michael worked with a homeless non-profit, Housing Forward. Following his work with the homeless, he worked at Lutheran General Hospital as a patient care technician on medical, surgical, intensive care, and pediatric floors. At the same time, he did microbiology research at Oakton Community College.
He then went onto Physician Assistant school at the University of St. Francis. In his free time, he likes to bake, rock climb, hike, and try different ethnic food.
Dr. Rudolph has seven years of experience as a Primary Care Provider and Urgent Care Doctor. She is board certified in urgent care and has worked in both the Duke City Urgent Care Clinics and Primary Care Clinics. Dr. Rudolph calls New Mexico home, but has had the opportunity to live in several states thanks to her career in medicine. When she’s not working, Dr. Rudolph enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three children.
Brent, a fifth generation New Mexican, graduated from the UNM Physician Assistant program in 2017 and has found his passion serving our community through primary care family medicine. Brent earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from UNM in 2013. Exercise science has provided a foundation in Brent’s practice to emphasize the need for a balanced healthy lifestyle, along with needed medicines, in the prevention and maintenance of disease. Outside of work, Brent enjoys spending time with his family and engages in running, hiking and playing guitar.
Douglas Ludington graduated with his Bachelor of Nursing from Brigham Young University, in 2005. His undergraduate career consisted of experience in multiple modalities throughout the hospital with the most experience in emergency medicine. He obtained his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of St. Francis with an emphasis in family medicine. Doug is especially inspired providing care for children at all stages.
Doug, along with his 5 beautiful children, spend personal time together enjoying outdoor activities including fishing, camping and hiking. He also explores personal hobbies like apiary (beekeeping), reading, and running.
Doug is excited to be a member of the Moriarty team and to serve the community.
Dr. Luu is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician. A native New Mexican, she attended the University of New Mexico School of Medicine prior to serving as a Family Medicine Physician in the United States Air Force for nine years. She completed her Residency in full spectrum Family Medicine through the Air Force. After her service, she returned to New Mexico with her family to serve New Mexicans. She is a seasoned provider in the care and management of chronic medical conditions as well as acute concerns. Her patient care style focuses on collaboration, shared decision making and an individualized holistic approach. Her physician life is balanced with time with her family and the New Mexico outdoors.
Dr. McLeod began practicing in Moriarty, NM shortly after graduation in 1988. He is board certified in Family Practice. He has served as president of the New Mexico Osteopathic Medical Society. He is was formerly a member of the New Mexico Board of Osteopathic Board of Medical Examiners and has served on numerous committees and local tasks forces. He has performed well over 100,000 patient visits and still enjoys practicing medicine. Over the years he has expanded the geographic area served by his practice as well as the services offered. He looks forward to taking care of you and your family.
J. Mark Pope was born and raised in Torrance County, NM. He is a family nurse practitioner, specializing in the treatment of the entire family at McLeod Medical Centers of New Mexico. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing at Addison, Illinois, then earned a Master of Science degree at Chamberlain University at Downers Grove, Illinois. J.Mark is national board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a family nurse practitioner.
Lauren Montano received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Salem State University in Salem, Massachusetts in 2009. For the next five years she worked as an EMT attending to transfer and 911 emergency calls in the Boston area.
Lauren completed her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New Mexico in 2017. Lauren joined a family practice group in June of 2017 where she has been working since.
Gregory grew up in a ranching and farming community in a family of 6 brothers and 6 sisters. He later attended college, earning a degree in radiology, becoming proficient in ultrasound, MRI, CT scans, radiation therapy, nuclear medicine. His specialties included arteriograms, myelograms, and cranial imaging. Gregory returned to school to earn a degree as a Physician Assistant at the University of New Mexico. He has worked in several patient care departments including emergency care, orthopedics, sports medicine, rheumatology, and pain management. While living in Northern New Mexico, Gregory expanded to become an athletic trainer, strength and conditioning coach (specializing in plyometrics), and enjoyed coaching cross country, football, basketball, and track at several high schools.
Kathleen was born in St. Louis Missouri. She attended to Texas A&M where she received her Master of Science in Nursing. Kathleen’s experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, has led her to serve patients in family practice in rural settings. She has held her nursing credentials since 2004 from American Nurse Credentialing Center. Kathleen is also DOT certified. When she is not helping patients, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, horses, cats, dogs, birds, fish, and taking time to smell the flowers.
Dr. Green received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana in 1984, her Master of Science in Nursing in 1990, then PhD in 2002 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She also earned a Post-Masters as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner in 1992 from Mississippi University for Women, in Columbus, Mississippi, then a Post-Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1996 from Northwestern State University, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Green has practiced advanced practice nursing for over 26 years and was among the first 14 nurse practitioners in Louisiana to obtain prescriptive authority and has spent most of her clinical experience in rural communities. In addition to clinical practice, she taught and precepted graduate nurse practitioner students for 15 years. In December, 2014, Dr. Green was appointed to the Advanced Practice Advisory Committee for the New Mexico Board of Nursing, and in 2015, was appointed by Governor Martinez to the New Mexico Prescription Drug Misuse and Overdose Prevention and Pain Management Advisory Council. Her appointment by the Governor to the New Mexico State Board of Nursing was in December, 2016, and she was elected Chair of the Board of Nursing the following April. In the spring of 2018, the New Mexico Nurse Practitioner Council elected Dr. Green as their President-elect.
Born in New Mexico, Jeannett attended college at South University in Savannah, GA. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing. Jeannett is now providing care for patients as a Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in family practice. She also is a confident Spanish speaker
Kathy was born in Albuquerque, NM , the youngest of 6 children. Her family moved to the East Mountains when she was only 6 months old. Kathy attended San Antonito Elementary, Roosevelt Junior High, and graduated from Manzano High School. She went on to UNM in 1985, to achieve a BA in Psychology, and worked for some time at Children’s Psychiatric Hospital as a mental health worker. In 1993, Kathy returned to UNM to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She remained for another 26 years at UNM Hospital working in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. She received a Master’s in Nursing from the University of St. Francis in 2016 and getting hired at McLeod’s Medical Center in November of the same year. Kathy has lived the majority of her life in the East Mountains and loves the community. She currently lives with her 3 horses, 5 cats, and 2 dogs as well as a small bunch of chickens, turkeys and ducks, near the house where she grew up.
John Stuart was born and raised in the Midwest. In his high school years, he moved to New Mexico and fell in love with the mountains. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in Physics. He attended Medical School at the University of New Mexico. There he met his wife Kelly. He did his Family Medicine residency at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating from residency, he completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. He has been practicing Family Medicine and Sports Medicine in Albuquerque since 2007.
In his free time, Dr. Stuart enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, mountain biking, skiing and running.
Monique Keulen-Nolet was born in the Netherlands. After marrying a US service member, she relocated to the United States. In 2008, Monique graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree as a family nurse practitioner. She has also enjoyed gaining experience in the areas of cardiac, respiratory, and emergency medicine. She provides patient care to all ages.
Monique loves to swim and ski and she loves being a nurse practitioner.
Dr. Burger is a patient centered, seasoned, academic and clinical physician. He attended college, medical school, an internship, finishing up with a 4-year residency in the Philadelphia, PA. As a board certified general surgeon, he was an academic house staff trainer. Dr. Burger also founded a very successful multi-physician specialty practice in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. He also practiced surgery in Taos, NM, at Holy Cross Hospital. Dr. Burger retired as a general surgeon after sustaining an orthopedic injury, followed by several required surgeries. He has practiced urgent care, occupational and family medicine for the past 12 years in New Mexico. He enjoys interacting with his patients and coworkers, and providing the highest quality, compassionate patient care. To top off his inspired career in medicine, he has been married to the love of his life (a nurse) for the past 43 years. He has 3 daughters and 3 grandchildren.
Deanna Suggs, RN, MSN, CNP was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. Her father made his career in the Navy so she moved around throughout life, but Albuquerque was always home. Deanna graduated from Manzano High School, going on to receive her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. Shortly after she received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at El Paso, and ultimately finished with her Post-Master’s Degree from Texas Tech in Lubbock, TX, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Deanna spent most of her career in Carlsbad, NM and Las Cruces, NM as a director and professor of Nursing. She retired after running the student and employee health clinic in 2013. She has worked as a CNP since 2000, and has a wide background. She has served on many local, state, and national boards and has returned to Albuquerque to be closer to family. She enjoys spending time with her children and two grandchildren. In her free time she loves to travel, shop, and garden. She is looking forward greatly to being a partner in your health care!
Elizabeth earned her MSN in Family Practice and her BSN from University of New Mexico. She has 6 years nursing experience at UNM Hospital in behavioral health and primary care. As an RN in primary care, she became certified in diabetes education and diabetic foot care. Originally from Chicago, IL, she has lived in Albuquerque for over 10 years and it has become her home. She is excited about joining the McLeod family practice group, and planning a move to the East Mountain community. Born in Hollywood, California, John Panter has lived in New Mexico since 2005. He received his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of St. Francis. He has practiced as a Physician Assistant in the East Mountain area of New Mexico since 2013. He is pleased to be able to serve the community!
